S2S SCRIPTS

Here are some of the fabulous scripts written by S2S. Since you can't trust anybody on the World Wide Web these days, make sure you scan all scripts for malware.

Helpful Scripts

These scripts can help you with automating tasks and doing special and helpful deeds, like writing all programs to a text document and saving it on your hard drive. These scripts are meant to be built off of to make bigger and better helpful scripts, perfect for small business or just plain old home computer management.

Quizzer! is a script that helps you test for quizzes. It is extremely effective. However, the LITE version only works with one vocabulary term. The full version deals with 20. Register to get the full version.

The restart script is another Input Box VBScript that will ask you to say yes to restart your computer or no to abort the script. If you type in yes, you get a 60-second countdown.

Annoying Scripts

Here are some scripts that are downright pests. They are always benign (meaning they won't do any damage to a system unless some idiot pulls out his computer's power cord and loses vital files). They can be classified as malware, but as a class class called joke programs. These scripts are usually "zipped" in ZIP files to prevent accidental opening.
500_digits.zip
File Size: 0 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

The 500 Digits script is one annoying file. It will send you 500 error messages that cannot be stopped if you tried to end a process or task in Task Manager. Each error message will have a number, and it wil count up to 500...that's 500 times you have to hit OK. And don't think that holding down enter will help...it can make funny things happen.
ANNOYANCE LEVEL (OUT OF 5): 3.6

The MonsterDigits script is basically the big mama of the "Digits" series of scripts. It goes up to some really high number (I just held my finger down on the 9 for a while). Most people will just shut down, but hopefully they have a slow computer and that may take awhile. Or they'll just be smart and ignore it. There's a password for it just because clicking on it by accident would be super annoying. The password is ok7. (No period). Random, yes, but that way nobody can figure them out.
ANNOYANCE LEVEL: 4.07
autotype_notepad.zip
File Size: 1 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

The original Autotype script is a pretty fun script. It will open Notepad and enter in some text, as if somebody's typing it, and then save the file to the last location a file was saved to. It's pretty amusing to watch, but if you click or type anything, you'll screw up your computer. AND I AM NOT JOKING.
ANNOYANCE LEVEL: 2, but if other possibilities and discrepancies are added, it is elevated to a 5.01.
autotype_word.zip
File Size: 1 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

Does the same as the autotype_notepad script, but types in Microsoft Word instead of Notepad.
autotype_wordpad.zip
File Size: 1 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

Does the same as the other autotype scripts, only uses WordPad instead of Notepad.

Malicious Scripts

These scripts are dangerous. When run, they will usually render your operating system useless. They should be used with extreme caution.

MALICIOUS SCRIPTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO REGISTERED USERS.
(To register, click here. The S2S Acceptance Committee will deem if you are to join or not.) After registering, you will be granted passwords to run the scripts.
bootini_killer.zip
File Size: 0 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

The boot.ini Killer script will delete the system file on your hard drive responsible for starting the computer up. Not for malicious use. Fixable by System Recovery on Windows Vista and 7.
pfs_bane.zip
File Size: 0 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

The Page File's Bane script will give you a lot of baloney about defragmenting your page file. It will delete the page file and render Windows unusable and crash it. Computer will work upon restart, albeit with all open and unsaved work gone, and at a snail's pace.
spamsites.zip
File Size: 0 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

The two scripts in the SpamSites file, when run, will each bring you to malicious sites full of tracking cookies, malware, and illegal content. The websites were found by looking through the list of blocked websites in an antivirus program. The two websites are called "No-censor" and "Anti-spy Pro" (typical virus candidates). S2S estimates that the damage done by these scripts may be nonexistent, as any defense on your computer may block the site or malicious content on the site. Therefore,
THEY ARE NOT PASSWORD-PROTECTED. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Teaching Scripts

These scripts are very basic and help you to learn how to script by allowing you to build off of and expand upon them.
google.zip
File Size: 0 kb
File Type: zip
Download File

We put the Google script under the "Teaching Scripts" section because Google isn't that hard to get to; it is, after all, a very common home page. With the advent of bookmarks and bookmark toolbars in today's popular web browsers, scripts that automatically open a website with a long, hard-to-remember URL may be deemed unnecessary. But they are great for embedding in PowerPoint presentations or for automatically running after an installation you have created is complete. Open the zip file and extract the VBS script inside, edit it, and replace to the "www.google.com" with whatever website you choose.
davidwho.zip

The script above, titled "davidwho.zip", is a fun script to just amuse your friends and for fooling around. When run, it will ask for your name. If your name is David, you better watch out! (No prejudice intended to all Davids). Can be edited for a different name--just replace David with something like "Saul" or "Johann".
